Road Construction Project

In the coastal regions of Bangladesh, road infrastructure plays a crucial role in sustaining livelihoods by ensuring access to education, healthcare, and markets. However, these communities are often at the mercy of environmental challenges such as river erosion, waterlogging, and flash floods-issues that frequently damage roads and disrupt daily life.

To address these pressing challenges, BAHAR has launched an initiative to construct durable, climate-resilient roads that strengthen connectivity and enhance the resilience of vulnerable communities. As part of this effort, BAHAR has successfully built two key roads, directly benefiting a significant number of residents. These new roads offer safer, more reliable routes for daily travel and improve access to essential services.

By investing in sustainable infrastructure, BAHAR is empowering coastal communities to overcome recurring environmental disruptions. This initiative not only improves the quality of life for local residents but also supports long-term development, underscoring BAHAR’s commitment to building resilient, self-reliant communities in Bangladesh.
